SheFarms Agro Investment Ltd was founded on a critical observation: West African farmers face two simultaneous challenges.
Massive quantities of agricultural waste accumulate with nowhere to go, creating environmental and economic burdens. Meanwhile, skyrocketing feed costs consume 60-70% of farmers' operating budgets, making livestock farming increasingly unsustainable.
The founding question was simple: What if the solution to one problem could solve the other?
That question led to the development of LoopFeed™—proprietary bioprocessing technology that transforms agricultural byproducts into nutritionally-optimized livestock feed.
Developed in partnership with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), SheFarms' technology represents a new approach to agricultural value chains. Where others see waste, we see opportunity. Where conventional systems deplete resources, we build circular loops.
This is more than technology development. It's the foundation of a circular agriculture movement across West Africa.
